Spring 2014 Legacy Pictures are Online!
Our Spring 2014 Mother/Daughter Legacy Retreat was so much fun! We had over 150 mothers and daughters join us at Camp Willow Run this past weekend and we had a great time. Our kitchen staff prepared delicious meals, our worship team lead music, and our executive director, Linda Harris taught our times of Bible study. Camp Willow Run hosts two Mother/Daughter retreats every year. One in the fall for grades 6-12, and one in the spring for grades 1-6. Check out our Retreats Overview page to learn more about upcoming CWR Retreats and click here to see the Facebook album from our 2014 Spring Legacy Retreat.

Development Update – Spring 2014
As we open CWS this summer, we are reminded of God’s great provision for CWS and of the faithful partners He has provided to help us reach this point. In 2013, friends of CWS provided a matching gift offer of $150,000 toward the pool complex. As a result, any gift designated for the pool was matched dollar for dollar up to this amount. Thank you for collectively giving $162,000 to complete this matching gift offer. The total cost of the pool complex is $445,000 and work on the pool interior and pool house will be complete soon. We will serve up to 80 campers per week this summer. The plan…

Summer Camp Update
The dream of Camp Willow Springs is coming true. We are very excited to serve our first groups of campers in grades 3-6 this summer. The wonderful response from families to send their children to CWS has been a great encouragement. We look forward to seeing our campers enjoy archery, canoeing, crafts, fishing, low ropes, model rocketry, the red shark, swimming, Octo-ball, 9-square, and other fun games. We will have great times of music, skits, and Bible study together. The camp food will be delicious and we will all enjoy our famous camp dessert, cookie mush. This inaugural summer will be one to remember! There are a few spaces available…

Preparing for Summer Camp
Summer 2014 will be here soon and we are getting ready for another exciting summer! Campers have registered, staff are being hired, speakers are planning their messages, recreation areas are being prepared, and menus are being created. Everything is coming together and we look forward to another summer of friends, fun, and fellowship as we learn more about God’s love for us. “For the King” is the 2014 summer theme. It is based on 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” This summer, as we enjoy the many different aspects of a week at CWR, we will be looking at what it means…
