This is a special time for mothers and daughters in grades 6-12 to come together for a weekend full of fun, food, and fellowship. Lance Michels will be speaking for our November 7-9, 2014 Fall Super High Retreat. He is a Pastor at Summit Church in Durham, NC. Summit Church is a multi-site church, with church plants through the country. While Lance leads teams of Pastors from every campus in the Triangle, he serves on staff at the Chapel Hill campus. Lance focuses on reaching students on UNC, Duke and NCCU campuses particularly. As a former church planter, Lance has a huge passion for seeing the church fulfill the Great Commission and also spends time discipling current and future church planters. Medical history forms and final payments for summer camp are due in our office by June 11.  Please include your child’s name and camp week on all correspondence and checks so that your payment can be quickly and properly credited.  Your check will serve as receipt of payment. If circumstances are such that you must cancel your child’s week, please notify us immediately. If you have misplaced your medical history form, you can download one from our website at www.campwillowsprings.org/forms.

Camp Willow Springs has a need for a camp healthcare person during the July 27 – August 1 session.  CWS offers a camper registration fee credit in return for one week of service as a camp nurse/healthcare person.  Please call Robbie or Luke at 252.586.4665 if you are interested in serving or would like more details.

The dream of Camp Willow Springs is coming true.  We are very excited to serve our first groups of campers in grades 3-6 this summer.  The wonderful response from families to send their children to CWS has been a great encouragement.  We look forward to seeing our campers enjoy archery, canoeing, crafts, fishing, low ropes, model rocketry, the red shark, swimming, Octo-ball, 9-square, and other fun games.  We will have great times of music, skits, and Bible study together.  The camp food will be delicious and we will all enjoy our famous camp dessert, cookie mush.  This inaugural summer will be one to remember!
