“Getting to Know You” There was great excitement in the air as 188 Mothers and daughters in grades 1-6 gathered for the 8th annual Spring Mother Daughter LEGACY Retreat!  That excitement continued to grow throughout the week-end! Bountiful and mouth-watering meals were served every time we sat down at the table!  Recreation classes ran from “stepping out of your comfort zone” (the Giant Swing!) to “laid-back and comfortable” (crafts).  The special music shared by mothers and/or daughters at each of our Sessions was absolutely beautiful!  New friendships.  One-on-one times between Moms and their girls. A Mom who is an RN with current certification is needed for our Spring Mother-Daughter Retreat, May 4-6. You will be able to stay in a boxcar dormitory with other Moms and their girls. We just wrapped up our 21st fall Mother-Daughter LEGACY Retreat, October 7-9.  Seventy-three Moms and 83 middle school, high school and college students were here for this unique and special time! It was also so much fun having twenty of our summer staff here to serve in worship times, recreation, workshops and food service.  Check out the photo gallery and see all of the fun that was enjoyed!
