“Getting to Know You”

There was great excitement in the air as 188 Mothers and daughters in grades 1-6 gathered for the 8th annual Spring Mother Daughter LEGACY Retreat!  That excitement continued to grow throughout the week-end!

Bountiful and mouth-watering meals were served every time we sat down at the table!  Recreation classes ran from “stepping out of your comfort zone” (the Giant Swing!) to “laid-back and comfortable” (crafts).  The special music shared by mothers and/or daughters at each of our Sessions was absolutely beautiful!  New friendships.  One-on-one times between Moms and their girls. Time to reflect, think and pray for home, relationships, priorities, love and growing closer to the Lord.

The Bible study focus was based on the lives of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz from the Book of Ruth.  One small, seemingly insignificant family discovered “A Lasting Legacy” through the line of David to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is The Lasting Legacy.  We discovered the house that His love builds.
