YCFC End-of-Year Update
As a ministry, we praise God for every opportunity to serve summer campers and retreat guests. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a reminder of how truly grateful we are for each of you. We received the following encouraging comments from camper evaluations:
“We continue to be blessed by CWS and CWR! Thank you for persevering through some crazy months and working so hard to make this camp week possible. We are grateful for you all!”
“This camp has always surpassed my expectations as a parent. Thank you so much for what you do for these children and the lives you touch. Our family and our community is a better place for the work you are doing for the Lord here.”
While there were still COVID capacity restrictions this summer, we had a great time serving campers. It was awesome to share the Gospel, build relationships, and have fun together. COVID continued to have the most significant impact on our retreat season. We were able to serve a few retreat guests, primarily in the fall, and are thankful that retreat groups are slowly returning. After a challenging 2020, I am pleased to share that 2021 has been a much better year financially, but we continue to feel the impact of the pandemic on our operating budget.
As you prayerfully consider your end-of-year giving, we humbly ask you to consider a financial gift to YCFC. If you are able to support camp financially and feel led to do so, your gift will be greatly appreciated as it will help sustain this ministry into 2022. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online or mailed to YCFC at 190 Mangum Lane, Littleton, NC 27850.
Looking to 2022, we are planning our Mother & Daughter and Father & Son weekends in the spring and are excited to serve more churches for retreats. We are hopeful for a full summer of camp sessions operating at full capacity. There are also many needed projects that were paused because of the pandemic that we would like to resume next year. We have a lot planned and can’t wait for you to be a part of it.
Thank you for partnering with us through your prayers and financial support. The Lord has provided for all of the needs of this ministry throughout the pandemic. He is worthy of our praise and we look forward to the future with excitement!
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.
