As we prepared to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, my son, Thad, was given a school assignment to write a paragraph about the things for which he is thankful. Thad wrote: “I am thankful for a lot of stuff. Here are some things. I am thankful for my family, my dog, a house, food, Camp Willow Run and Camp Willow Springs, a bed, an iPad, legos, friends, God, and Jesus. Changes to Summer Camp Registration
We are excited to be partnering with CampMinder as our new camp management system. Working with CampMinder will help us streamline the registration process for our camper families and staff. In 2017, CWS & CWR will offer online summer camp registration and will accept online payments. Families will be able to create their own accounts and manage camper sessions and retreats, profiles, and submitted forms. Registration forms will open online at 10 a.m. on January 30th at campwillowrun.org and campwillowsprings.org. System setup is underway, please visit check back for additional updates and information.

2017 Summer Camp Dates
The 2017 Summer Camp dates are now available here! Registration will begin in early 2017. Invite your friends and make plans to join us next summer! We are excited to have two new dorms that will be completed prior to next summer. This will provide us with the opportunity to work with an additional 40 campers each camp session!

2017 Summer Camp Sessions
The 2017 Summer Camp dates are now posted at the “Camp Weeks 2017” page. Registration will begin in early 2017, but you can check out the schedule now and start making plans for next summer! As development at Camp Willow Springs has continued, it has allowed Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. to continue and complete the transition of grades 3-5 camp sessions from Camp Willow Run to Camp Willow Springs. The 2017 summer schedule reflects the completion of the transition of CWR’s summer program to work with more middle and high school campers. Mother Daughter Retreat – Cancelled
After continuing to monitor the weather, we will cancel the retreat for this weekend. With the uncertainty of potential flooding and high winds, we feel this decision is best for everyone’s safety. Unfortunately, there are no remaining weekends available in 2016 to reschedule this retreat. We will be issuing full refunds early next week. We will miss having each of you at camp. Hope to see you in 2017.

Rodney & Joyce Campbell Retire
After over two decades of faithful service at CWR, Rodney and Joyce Campell will retire September 30th. Many lives have been impacted by their dedication and work. They are loved and will be missed at Camp Willow Run!
