Summer camp registration opens on January 28th! Registration for Camp Willow Springs will open at 10:00am. Registration for Camp Willow Run will begin a few hours later at 1:00pm. We have created a new Guide to Summer Camp at CWS and a Guide to Summer Camp at CWR. We believe these guides can be helpful for both first-time and returning camper families. Meet Our 2019 April 5-7 Spring Super High Retreat Speaker: Trip Smith
Trip Smith is a student pursuing his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Prior to seminary he was the Youth Pastor at Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary, NC. Trip loves teaching old, glorious truths about Jesus in new, fresh, understandable ways. His messages will be heart-felt and intentional. He believes the middle school and high school years are some of the most important years in a person’s life to respond to the good news of Jesus Christ. 2019 Summer Camp Registration for Camp Willow Springs and Camp Willow Run sessions will open on Monday, January 28, 2019. The application link for both camps will be available at the campwillowsprings.org, campwillowrun.org, youthcampsforchrist.org sites and the CWS & CWR Facebook and Twitter pages. CWS registration will open at 10am and CWR sessions will be available at 1pm on the 28th. Celebrating 50 Years!
Throughout this year we have had the privilege to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. and its Christian camping and retreat ministries of Camp Willow Run (CWR) established in 1968 and Camp Willow Springs (CWS) established in 2014. In June, we hosted a 50th anniversary celebration event for staff alumni. Over 550 staff and guests attended! J.D. Greear, pastor of the Summit Church and a former CWR summer speaker, challenged us from Psalm 126 as he talked about faith and sacrifice. He defined faith as the audacious expectation that God will do something, against even incredible odds and shared that this is the kind of faith…
