• Super High Retreat Speaker: Jeremy

    Jeremy Berger will be speaking for our November 6-8, 2015 Fall Super High Retreat. He is Middle School Pastor at Summit Church in Durham, NC. He and his wife Katie have been married four years and have four boys. One of the coolest and most unusual things about Jeremy is his game show experience. He has appeared on Weakest Link and Wheel of Fortune. Jeremy enjoys coffee, reading, spending time with his family and football. He also has a passion for teaching students about the love of Christ. Jeremy has also spoken for summer camp at CWR. He will speak the Gospel to the students during Super High retreat.

    2015 Fall Mother-Daughter LEGACY Retreat “GOD’S LOVE NEVER FAILS” God Knows You and He Loves You The October Mother-Daughter Retreat faced cancellation due to storm systems impacting us along the coast as well as inland. After closely monitoring the changing systems, a cautious and prayerful decision was made to host this retreat. A full refund was offered to families who felt they should not travel due to weather.   • BUILD Retreat Speakers: Meet the Antill Father & Sons

    Brad has roamed the swamps and timberlands of the Atlantic Coastal Plain for 27 years. He is a registered forester in North Carolina and West Virginia. He is also a member of the Society of American Foresters and the North Carolina Trapper’s Association.  Brad speaks and teaches to groups of all ages, sharing the wonders of God and His creation. He has authored four outdoor devotional books, including Pines, Prayers, and Pelts, just published in the fall of 2014. All of the Antill men enjoy the outdoors and are avid sportsman. Brad’s oldest son, Josiah, is a graduate of Chowan University and is currently a student at Campbell Divinity School.…

    Luke Whitehead Luke is proud to call “Down East” home. He grew up on a farm in Scotland Neck, NC. He graduated from Hobgood Academy in 2004 and from High Point University in 2008 with a B.A. in Organizational Communications and Leadership. Following teaching high school, he felt the call towards ministry after visiting an orphanage in Ethiopia. In 2013 he received his Masters in Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School. Currently Luke serves as the Assistant Pastor at Nashville United Methodist Church in Nashville, NC where he works with Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Families.
