Low Ropes Course
Our 12 element low ropes course will present all groups with physical challenges as well as problem solving situations.  The emphasis of each element is placed on developing cooperation and trust among all group members.  Whether navigating through the spider web, scaling the wall, swinging across the nitro, or traversing the many other elements, a time of team building and fun is sure to be had by all.

High Ropes Course (6th grade and older)
Our high ropes course is a CWR favorite of many campers!  Trained facilitators and staff will guide and encourage you as you weave through the various elements of the course.  Your experience will culminate with either a controlled free fall or a 480-foot ride into the lake on our zip line!

Zip Line – Everyone who participates in the high ropes course will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the zip line.  At 480 feet long, this 9 second ride into the waters of Lake Gaston will give each person a memory for years to come.  Each year this proves to be a highlight for many campers!

Climbing Wall (6th grade and older)
With 1,700 square feet of climbing space and 6 different routes, our climbing wall is excellent for both first-time and experienced climbers.  Our trained staff will instruct all participants in proper climbing technique so that many will scale the top of the 45-foot wall.  The 6 available routes provide a wide range of difficulties from novice to experienced.

Giant Swing (6th grade and older)
Experience the thrill of swinging through the air at heights of up to 35 feet on our Giant Swing.  This exhilarating event requires group cooperation and hardly anyone can resist the urge to participate once they see the swing in action!

Indoor Climbing Wall (6th grade and older)
This is a 25-foot indoor climbing wall constructed in one end of our gymnasium.  This activity allows us to climb in spite of cold, inclement weather, or as simply another option in our climbing program.  These 5 routes again provide a wide range of difficulty for climbers of all abilities.

* All of Camp Willow Run’s adventure recreation operates under the principle of “Challenge by Choice” this simply means that each participant can set their own level of involvement in the activity and will not be pressured to go beyond that.
