Boys Under Influence of Loving Dads is a retreat designed for fathers who desire to build Godly character in their sons (grades 1-12) with the guidance of God’s Word and through a lasting relationship. There is no better way to build upon your relationship with your son(s) than on this retreat. Also, men who are investing in boys without a dad in the home are welcome to attend.

The weekend will provide an opportunity for men and boys to spend much needed time together in a great environment. A combination of Bible studies, guided group activities and recreational options will be meaningful and keep you active. The schedule will allow time alone to fish, talk, play ball, canoe, toss a frisbee or take a walk in the woods. Also, there will be opportunities to meet some new friends and spend time with the friends who attend with you. Plan on joining us for the annual Camp Willow Run B*U*I*L*D Retreat! Let’s build some memories that will last a lifetime…heart to heart…life on life…man to man.

The sessions will be Biblically based, relevant and lead in a practical way for all to understand. Families will be encouraged and challenged by the messages. Our prayer is that all will come expecting God to teach us how to be better disciples of Christ Jesus.

Our session leaders will be Chip Baggett and his father, Capt’ Rob Baggett. Chip is a native of Rocky Mount, NC. Chip met his wife, Lauren, while on summer staff at CWR. They have three children. He has also taught school and is currently a Family Pastor. He and his family live in Roanoke, VA, where Chip is on staff at Cave Spring Baptist Church. Rob is a retired police officer. He spent 35 years on Rocky Mount PD and is a current training officer for other law enforcement academies. He is a graduate of UNCW & Southern Police University of Louisville. He and Susan have been married 37 years. They are active members in Englewood Baptist Church. Rob has invested many years as a teaching leader and prayer warrior for the annual BUILD retreat.
