The October Mother-Daughter Retreat faced cancellation due to storm systems impacting us along the coast as well as inland. After closely monitoring the changing systems, a cautious and prayerful decision was made to host this retreat. A full refund was offered to families who felt they should not travel due to weather. Still, 60% of those registered participated in this retreat. The coastal storm moved further out to sea and the inland rain calmed. As our speaker later shared…“I am still talking about how sweet it was to be together and the rain, well, it merely made things wet on the outside while the sun/Son shined brightly everywhere else.”
