Likewise we are preparing to complete our summer camps and transition into fall retreats.     Trip Smith is a student pursuing his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Prior to seminary he was the Youth Pastor at Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary, NC. Trip loves teaching old, glorious truths about Jesus in new, fresh, understandable ways. His messages will be heart-felt and intentional. He believes the middle school and high school years are some of the most important years in a person’s life to respond to the good news of Jesus Christ.     Mike Camire is Pastor of Students, College & Global Missions at Parkway Baptist in Moseley, VA. Mike began attending Parkway Baptist the second Sunday services were held. He was a junior in high school at the time and became one of the original members of the student ministry. While attending college at Liberty University, Mike served on various leadership roles at Parkway. January 2008, he became the full-time Student Pastor.     Luke is proud to call “Down East” home. He grew up on a farm in Scotland Neck, NC. He graduated from Hobgood Academy in 2004 and from High Point University in 2008 with a B.A. in Organizational Communications and Leadership. Following teaching high school, he felt the call towards ministry after visiting an orphanage in Ethiopia. In 2013 he received his Masters in Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School.     William Calhoun was born in Huntsville Alabama. He is a graduate of Auburn University (Go War Eagles!). Following graduation he moved to NC and enrolled in Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He says the real reason he chose NC was because of Cam Newton. After moving to NC he met a beautiful red-head named Rachel and they have been married for three years.     November 3-5: Matt Windley     Matt Windley is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves as Pastor of The Bridge Community Church in Morrisville, NC. He is on the Board of Directors for Open Arms Worldwide, which is a missions agency focused on partnering with local churches to reach at-risk children in their communities. Matt and Cheri met at Camp Willow Run while on summer staff in 2003. They have four children: Ethan (10), Caleb (7), Emma Kate (5) and Luciana (1).     November 4-6, 2016: Matt Rice serves as the Pastor of Care and Connections at Northwest Community Church in Cary, NC. He grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 1994 and from Southeastern Seminary in 1999 (MDIV/CE) and 2005 (DMIN in Evangelism). He married Dana Rice in 1996 and they have 4 kids – Andrew (13), Mollie (12), Luke (10), and Jake (9). Dana graduated from UNC with a Pharmacy degree and works at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
