    Hello Camp Family: Thank you for your support of this ministry through the years by attending summer camp or a retreat, serving on summer staff, or giving financially. This year has been unlike any year we have ever experienced both in our personal lives and in the life of camp. The COVID-19 pandemic has substantially impacted camp and we want to share our need with you. This year, we will have a budget shortfall as our operating revenues will be down 62%.     Hello Camp Families, We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation as it relates to summer camp at Camp Willow Springs & Camp Willow Run. North Carolina is currently under a stay at home order through May 8. Our governor has given a 3-phase plan to reopen North Carolina and will be giving an update on the timeline of this plan within the next week. Included in the update will be possible guidelines for summer camps and further information on group size limits.   • Linda Harris, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Retires

    Linda Harris will be retiring from the role of Executive Director of Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. (YCFC) on December 31, 2019. She is Co-Founder of YCFC, which owns and operates Camp Willow Run (CWR) established in 1968 and Camp Willow Springs (CWS) established in 2014. Linda has worked with the organization for 51 years and has served in many roles including Camp Director and Executive Director. Linda has seen this ministry grow from serving 54 day campers in the summer of 1968 to serving 3,000 overnight campers between both CWS & CWR in summer 2019.   • Celebrating 50 Years!

    Throughout this year we have had the privilege to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. and its Christian camping and retreat ministries of Camp Willow Run (CWR) established in 1968 and Camp Willow Springs (CWS) established in 2014. In June, we hosted a 50th anniversary celebration event for staff alumni. Over 550 staff and guests attended! J.D. Greear, pastor of the Summit Church and a former CWR summer speaker, challenged us from Psalm 126 as he talked about faith and sacrifice.   • 50th Anniversary Celebration

    Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. was founded in 1968. YCFC, a nonprofit organization, owns and operates Camp Willow Run & Camp Willow Springs. Both camps are located on Lake Gaston in Littleton, NC. Camp Willow Run began operation in 1968 as a day camp and became a coed residential camp that currently serves campers in grade 6-8 and 9-12. Camp Willow Springs opened in 2014 and is a coed residential camp serving campers in grades 3-6.
